This patient had LASIK done in 1997 and while their vision was great for a while, it started to get worse over time. It is speculated that since LASIK is not as advanced and precise as it is now, that LASIK in the 90’s we’re often not as good or efficient as they are done now. This leaves many people having to get a cornea repair or LASIK enhancement done to correct their vision even further to help stabilize it.
With the CREATE protocol, Dr. Motwani helps restore the cornea and vision with a topographic guided laser technique to help map the cornea out and shape it back into a rounder and smoother curve, letting more light and clarity in the eye.
