Epi-cell removal, also known as epithelial cell removal, is a process used primarily in the field of vision correction, and is a specialized eye procedure used primarily to treat complications following LASIK, where surface cells grow under the corneal flap, causing vision issues. This is commonly used to help smoothen out the cornea.
