With this Keratoconus surgery we were able to treat a patient who had gone years with the progression of the disease well into their early 50’s. Now, after decades of obscured vision, we used out mapping technique to get the right laser pattern on the cornea to smoothen the surface and allow for a better and uniform shape. The riboflavin used helps the cornea to absorb the nutrients and stop the progression of the keratoconus.
