LASIK (Laser-Assisted In Situ Keratomileusis) is a type of eye surgery used to correct vision problems like nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. The procedure is done using lasers to reshape the cornea, allowing light entering the eye to be properly focused onto the retina, resulting in clearer vision.
In this video we create a flap to be lifted and apply the laser on the cornea to help reshape and restore vision virtually back to a normal correction. Then we place a soft contact over the eye to help the cornea heal.
