No More Keratoconus Cone with the CREATE Protocol (Keratoconus Surgery)

This patient had years of varying eye prescriptions but never knew they had keratoconus until they came in for a recommended screening. Once topographies were made on the scans of their eyes, it was discovered that the patient had keratoconus. Something that was failed to be diagnosed by previous optometrists.

In this surgery you can see where the laser whittles down the cone over time. We also made the shape of the cornea more uniform by reducing the astigmatism, resulting in the laser like butterfly shape after we reduced the keratoconus cone.
