Radial Keratotomy (RK) is a somewhat old procedure done many years ago to help vision correction and involved making hand created incisions on the cornea to help create a correction into the eye. However, due to the nature of the incision needing to perfect even though made by the hand, the chance for human error was high thus, resulting in many people who receive RK need repairs further down the line. Today, RK is rarely used to help treat vision correction due to advanced and new technology but here at Cornea Revolution we treat many patients who had the surgery years prior.
